JP Morgan rose the bet to 2.46% in Wipro | Jun’20 qtr

In the quarter of March 2020, Wipro Limited had 74.04% and 25.57% of holdings through the promoters and public respectively. The I.T. company had 74.02% through the promoters and 25.59% through the public, in the June 2020 quarter. The differences in the public shareholding patterns of the two quarters, are as follows:

Increase in shareholding % – Mutual Funds incremented the value from 1.42% to 2.05%. Individuals having the share capital in excess than Rs. 2 Lacs grew the value from 3.23% to 3.25%. JP MORGAN CHASE BANK up-stepped the holding from 2.45% to 2.46%. Clearing Members upgraded the parts from 0.03% to 0.04%. Trusts rose the value from 0.21% to 0.25%.

Decrease in shareholding % – Alternate Investment Funds reported a reduction in the bet from 0.02% to 0.01%. Foreign Portfolio Investors appeared with a lowering in percentage from 8.45% to 7.84%. Financial Institutions/ Banks reduced the parts from 0.71% to 0.70%. Insurance Companies shrunk the holding from 4.88% to 4.84%. Life Insurance Corporation of India lessened the value from 4.73% to 4.69%. Bodies Corporate went from 0.85% to 0.81%.

Identical shareholdings % – Foreign Nationals at 0.00%; Central Government/ State Government(s)/ President of India at 0.00%; Individuals with share capital up to Rs. 2 Lacs at 2.37%. NRI Non – Repatriation at 0.49%; IEPF at 0.03%; Non-Resident Indians (NRI) at 0.06%; Qualified Institutional Buyers at 0.37%.

ICICI PRUDENTIAL LARGE & MID CAP FUND might have entered as a new entity or have grown above 1.00% in June quarter at 1.02%. The total number of public shareholders widened from 5,11,870 to 5,47,648.
