Decrease in shareholding % – Mutual Funds lowered the total percentage from 9.29% to 8.75%. Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund and their associates reduced the stakes from 2.42% to 1.24%. Financial Institutions/ Banks lessened from 0.20% to 0.15%. Insurance Companies shrunk from 5.51% to 5.34%. Individuals with share capital up to Rs. 2 Lacs contracted from 7.21% to 7.03%. JP MORGAN CHASE BANK (Overseas Depositories) went from 14.31% to 14.10%.
Following had Unaltered shareholding % in March 2020 quarter – Central Government/ State Government(s)/ President of India at 0.00%, Individuals with share capital in excess of Rs. 2 Lacs at 0.15%, Unclaimed or Suspense or Escrow Account at 0.23% and IEPF at 0.13%.
Aditya Birla Sun Life Trustee Pvt Limited and their associates at 1.08%(Dec) and FIRST STATE INVESTMENTS ICVC- STEWART INVESTORS ASIA PACIFIC LEADERS FUND at 2.76%(Dec) might have completely exited or dipped below 1.00% in the March’20 quarter.
