The Company took relevant cautious steps, in order to protect vehicles sorted damage during this lockdown.
Maruti Suzuki also imparted to its employees, partners and associates about the suitable tips to keep vehicles under safe zone. The Company released series of safety measures-including free services, extension of warranty and service of customer vehicles with a due to end in the period from 15 March 2020 to 30th April 2020, which further extended up to 30, June 2020.
The Company has also shut down its production of vehicles and recommended certain health-related measures to its employees and co-advisors-including Sanitization, temperature checks, Social distancing, closing employees travel and following segments as directed by the government till further notified.
Ashok Leyland took significant precaution steps against COVID-19 during the lockdown. The Company has been providing foods in all its plant to the warriors- like Doctors, Paramedical staff, Civic and Sanitary Worker etc. It’s also distributing sets of gloves, masks, & apron to Doctors. Daily meals are also provided to 181 migrant labourers from UP, Bihar and Maharashtra.
The Company’s team -President & HR also stated that their brand has been taking initiative measures for fight against COVID-19 along with it supporting the Governments decision as per the stage. The Company also ensured that it will further prudence for supporting workers and provide meals to warriors who are at the forefront of this fight against COVID-19.
